Position: Therapists Proficient in Evidence-Based Psychotherapies (Licensed Master’s Level or Licensed/License-Eligible Doctoral Level)

About Us: Proven Pathways Psychotherapy is a growing group private practice dedicated to providing quality evidence-based psychotherapies to adults in the Columbus area (and Ohio via Telehealth). We collaborate with, share didactics, and offer training opportunities alongside Columbus OCD and Anxiety Clinic (COAC), our sister group practice located in the building. As part of this growing local community, our goal is to provide additional opportunities for growth, learning, co-referral, and connection by being adjacently located with like-minded professionals.

Position Type: W-2 Employee, In Person or Hybrid (up to 2 days/week Telehealth)

Are you a therapist who has experience with evidence-based psychotherapies and is interested in continuing to hone your competencies with evidence-based practice? We are seeking licensed therapists to join our team in Columbus, Ohio, to provide high quality mental health care to individuals struggling with a range of conditions. We are hoping to bring on therapists who like to be in the office at least a few days a week to have the chance to connect as providers and to meet the needs of the clients (a number of which prefer in-person sessions). We are accepting applications for clinicians that work with adults predominately, though if you have competency to see adolescents and wish to do so, we can explore this as well.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual evidence-based therapy for a range of anxiety conditions, depression, trauma, and other conditions. Options for participation in group psychotherapy or evidence-based couples therapy exist.

  • Provide risk assessments, safety planning, and crisis intervention when necessary.

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations.

  • Create personalized treatment plans that include measurement-based care. Monitor client progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal care.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinic policies and legal/ethical standards.

  • Participate in clinic team meetings and ad-hoc consultation.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when indicated for client care, including psychiatrists and primary care providers.

  • Caseload: Manage an average caseload of 20+ client hours per week, allowing you to have flexibility in your schedule and promote work-life balance.

  • Salary: We offer a competitive salary based on education, experience, and desired average caseload. This allows you the flexibility to see more or fewer clients in a given month and be able to rely on a stable income.

  • Support: Collaborate with a supportive team of professionals dedicated to helping individuals achieve their mental health goals.

  • Patient Management: We handle all marketing, screening procedures, billing, and waitlists.

  • Training Opportunities: We provide a stipend for continuing education. We also have a weekly meeting in collaboration with COAC that rotates between case consultation, didactics, and journal club. Training opportunities in evidence-based therapeutic interventions are available from our practice or COAC.
